Drop Off Procedures
We have adjusted our drop-off procedure for students in order to ensure the safety of everyone using the back parking lot/crosswalk. This is the area located behind the playground. We are asking that all parents who are dropping off and walking children to the playground area, use the parking lot and walk with their children to the crosswalk. We are reserving the curb closest to the school as the "curbside" drop-off area and ask that parents pull up to this area, drop-off children on sidewalk and pull away. We have placed cones along the opposite side of the curb to discourage parents from using this space as parking because it is considered to be an active roadway and is very dangerous. We understand that parking is limited and ask that if parents need to park they do so in the lot or along the grassy area across from the parking lot.
In addition, we ask parents not to use the Bus Dock area in the morning as a drop off location due to late buses arriving and children walking along our bus dock. If your child is late, arriving after 9:00 AM, then you need to sign your child in to school. You may use the 20-minute parking spaces provided in the front lot for this procedure.
Students in grades 3-4 will continue to be dropped off in the back of the building closest to the church parking lot. When pulling in, parents are asked to stay to the left (curbside) to drop off. On nice days the students will line up in the fields next to the gazebo. On inclement weather days, students will line up inside the building. 3rd and 4th grade students and their siblings (prek-2) may be dropped off in the back on inclement weather days only. On nice days, prek-2nd grade students must be dropped off on the play ground side. *3rd and 4th grade students can be dropped off on either side of the building.*
We will continue to monitor these areas and modify things as needed. We thank you for your patience and understanding with this safety issue.

Pick-Up Procedure-Dismissal
If picking your child up during dismissal, and he/she is in Kindergarten, First, or Second Grade, please report to the designated Parent Pick-Up classrooms at 3:35 PM.
